Project: Lakewood Park Pavillion adjacent to the Lakewood Trailhead in Lakewood, WI
This is a new pavillion with picnic and restroom facilities for the Oconto County Parks Department. This facility includes a roof mounted
2.87Kw PV solar system comprised of 14 Kyocera KD205GX-LP PV panels wired to a Solectria PVI3000 inverter. Yearly output of the PV system is
expected to generate approximately 3200KWh of electricity providing approximately $290.00 of reduced electricity costs for the County. PV system design
by our engineers and installed by Lake Michigan Wind and Sun from Sturgeon Bay, WI.
The electrical systems on and inside the building were chosen for their reduced electrical consumption and used in conjunction with both light and
occupancy sensors that do not allow the lights to operate during daylight hours when there is sufficient lighting inside the building. The
architect installed light tubes to allow more natural light to penetrate further inside the building than standard construction. These features
all further reduce the electrical utility bills that this building will consume over it's lifespan.
